User data deletion

What data we may hold

• Name and contact information provided during interactions
• Messages exchanged through WhatsApp or other connected channels
• Appointment or scheduling information
• Technical identifiers such as Facebook User ID or phone number

How to request deletion

To request the deletion of your data, send an email to the address below with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include your full name and, if applicable, the phone number or email address associated with your account.

What happens after your request

1. 1We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
2. 2We will verify your identity to protect your data from unauthorized deletion.
3. 3Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
4. 4You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Google account integration

If you (or your provider) connected a Google account to sync appointments with Google Calendar, Mediko only stores the encrypted access tokens needed to keep that sync working. You can remove this data at any time by:

• Disconnecting the Google integration from your Mediko account settings, or
• Revoking Mediko's access from your Google account permissions page.

Once revoked, we delete the associated tokens. Mediko's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data we may retain

Certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or clinical compliance purposes even after a deletion request. This includes data required by applicable healthcare regulations or tax obligations. In such cases, we will inform you of the specific retention period that applies.
